Methodology
Carried.io measures Mythic+ behavior, not raw performance. Each score uses a "ratio to perfect" approach: we compare what you did to the best possible outcome in your run. A score of 100 means you played mechanics perfectly. The score is relative to the key level you play - difficulty is baked into the data.
Kick
Measures your interrupts relative to your expected share in the group. Your share is calculated from each member's kick CD (15s melee vs 24s ranged). Smooth curve: ratio 1.0 = 85 points, 1.3x your share = 100.
Awareness
Direct ratio: (1 - avoidable damage / total damage) × 100. Perfect = 0 avoidable damage taken. Death penalty of -5 points per death. Self-calibrating: tanks take more total damage, so the same amount of avoidable naturally produces a different ratio.
Activity
Two components: your active time percentage (70% of score) and penalty for idle gaps between casts (30%). Perfect = 100% active, 0 gaps. Simple and direct.
Support (Aug Evoker)
Exclusive to Augmentation Evoker. Measures uptime of your key buffs: Ebon Might (65%) and Prescience/Inferno's Blessing (35%). Support score is the heaviest weight for this spec (35%).
Survival
Simple curve: 0 deaths = 90 points, -25 per death. Bonus of +10 max for proactive defensive usage (pressed before panic, not after). Perfect = 0 deaths + well-timed defensives = 100.
CC
Same logic as kick: we calculate your expected CC share in the group, then compare what you did. Ratio 1.0 = 85, 1.3x = 100. Specs without CC have 0% weight - no penalty.
Dispel
Healer-only score. Ratio of your dispels vs group total. Healers are expected to do the majority: 80% of group dispels = perfect score. Quality bonus (+5) for priority dispels.
Score and key level
The score objectively measures how well you play mechanics in your runs. It's relative to your average key level (shown on your profile): difficulty is baked into the data - dodging a frontal in a +15 is harder than in a +5, and the score reflects that naturally. Higher keys count more in the weighted average. Minimum 3 M+ runs required for a reliable score.
Why isn't DPS in the score?
Raider.io and Warcraft Logs already measure raw performance (DPS/HPS) very well. Carried.io exists to answer a different question: does this player do mechanics? A player who parses 97 but never kicks, takes all avoidable damage and never uses defensive CDs is a carried player, regardless of their DPS.
Weights by role
CC weight is dynamic per spec. Specs without meaningful CC have 0% weight - redistributed to Activity and Kick.
